What is MachenVoice?

MachenVoice is a free browser studio on machen-voice.com that turns written scripts into neural speech. You work in blocks of up to 2,000 characters, choose from hundreds of cloud neural voices, and export 24 kHz mono MP3—merged on your device when you download a full project. No account is required for the core workflow.

Who it is for

Creators use it for YouTube and short-form voiceovers, instructional designers for LMS modules, IT teams for IVR prompts, and authors who want to hear chapter pacing before studio booking. Accessibility-minded publishers also generate narration to pair with on-screen text. If you need a legally vetted commercial guarantee, read our Licenses page and the upstream provider’s voice terms for your scenario.

How it works

Paste text, pick a voice, complete Cloudflare Turnstile when prompted, and generate audio per block. Only the block text is sent to our API for synthesis; results may be cached by content hash to speed up repeats. Preview blocks in order, then export one MP3. Voice effects (pitch, speed, volume) apply before generation.

Voice quality and languages

Output is 24 kHz mono MP3 suited to video editors and phone systems. Voices come from a public cloud neural voice catalog across dozens of locales; use search in the studio to load the full list beyond the popular picks shown first. Pitch, speed, and volume effects apply before each generation.

Limits and privacy

Each block holds up to 2,000 characters. Human verification (Turnstile) and hourly limits protect the free tier. Only block text is sent to our servers for MP3 synthesis; results may be cached by content hash. See Privacy and Cookies for AdSense, language cookies, and how to limit personalized ads.
